Used in accredited calibration laboratories, they are designed to ensure the traceability of mass measurements and verification of weights, as required by legal metrology. The equipment can be used not only for comparisons, but also for weighing and other related operations that are specific to the PM 5Y series precision balances.

The 5Y.PM.KB mass comparator has the following communication interfaces: 2×USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, Ethernet, Wi-Fi ® and Hotspot , through which it connects to devices, accessories and applications such as: Smartphone Tablet Laptop and computer Printer Barcode scanner Additional screen Keyboard Mouse Spreadsheet.
